About my photography

I’m Vinny, and I live in Bournemouth on the south coast of England. Natural History has my main passion since I was very young. I love all aspects of it - including the fascinating science we can learn from it. Most of all I love the beauty, intricacies and incredible variety you can find with an open mind and a little effort.

The advent of digital cameras gave me an affordable opportunity to capture the natural world as I see it. I have progressed from a Sony Mavica (which took floppy discs!) to Canon SLRs. Most of my work is telephoto or macro - I get the most pleasure from the latter as it can bring out details in a subject often overlooked.

Should you wish to use any of these images or link to the site, please contact me via email - I’m particularly interested in helping conservation organisations and encourage their enquiries.
